Firefighter Preston

 Today we had Firefighter Preston talking to Room 16 about fire safety.

 Adam helped Preston read a story about Fire Safety.

 Emily helped read the story too.  She also pushed the button on the smoke alarm.  It was very very loud!!

 Preston used a black sheet to pretend our classroom was full of smoke.
We got down, got low and got out!!
Then we went to our school safe meeting place on the school netball courts.

Preston told us about tools and toys.  We are not allowed to play with tools as they are too dangerous for 5 year olds.  Matches and lighters are tools not toys!
