Fire Engine Visit

 We are studying Firewise at school at the moment.  We are learning about fire safety.
Today the fire truck visited school with Fire Fighters Greg, Alex and Patrick.
(Mrs Horn used to teach Alex when he was 5!!).

 Here is Fire fighter Alex with Room 16.  He is showing us where the hoses go.

Fire fighter Greg is showing us his favourite fire fighting tool that can break doors and ceilings and even lift the roof off a car!!

 Alex wore all his fire fighting gear and even put on his breathing gear so we could hear the sound of it.  It was a little bit noisy but not scary.

We even got to sit inside the fire truck!!  Mrs Horn was allowed to turn on the siren!!  It was really really loud.
